Government Press Conference

Professional Audio Distribution for Journalists Using AudioPressBox APB-320 C-USB

Every government press conference has one thing in common: dozens of journalists need access to the same high-quality audio signal.

Professional television cameras, voice recorders, laptops and smartphones all require a reliable audio feed. Without a dedicated press box, media representatives often compete for microphone access, connect improvised splitters or rely on poor room acoustics.

That is exactly where AudioPressBox APB-320 C-USB becomes an essential part of the press conference setup.

One Microphone. Professional Audio for Every Journalist.

During this government press conference, the speaker simply used a single professional microphone.

Instead of placing multiple microphones on the podium or allowing every media crew to connect separately, the microphone signal was connected directly into the AudioPressBox APB-320 C-USB.

From there, the audio was simultaneously distributed to all attending media.

Journalists connected their:

Professional broadcast cameras
Audio recorders
USB-C recording devices (mobile phones)
Voice Recorders

Each media outlet received exactly the same clean, broadcast-quality audio feed.

This significantly improves both audio quality and the overall appearance of the press conference.

Portable Audio Distribution Wherever You Need It

Government press conferences are often organized in temporary meeting rooms rather than permanent press centers.

This is why portability is critical.

The APB-320 C-USB is housed in a rugged waterproof Nanuk case with an integrated rechargeable battery, allowing it to be deployed virtually anywhere within minutes. No fixed installation is required.

Whether the event takes place in:

Government institutions
Ministries
Parliament buildings
Municipal offices
Temporary media rooms
Crisis management centers

the AudioPressBox can simply be placed close to the speaker and immediately provide professional media audio distribution.

Clean Setup for Modern Media Workflows

Modern journalists arrive with many different recording devices.

Some still use professional XLR cameras, while others record directly to laptops or USB-C devices.

The APB-320 C-USB supports both workflows simultaneously by offering:

16 transformer-isolated XLR outputs
4 USB-C digital outputs
Professional Mic/Line inputs
Built-in compressor and limiter
Up to 20 hours of battery operation

This flexibility allows broadcasters, television crews, radio stations and online media to connect without additional converters or complicated wiring.

Why Government Institutions Use Press Boxes

Using a professional press box provides several important advantages:

Every journalist receives identical broadcast-quality audio
The speaker uses only one professional microphone
No microphone clutter on the podium
Faster setup for media crews
Reliable operation during live broadcasts
Professional appearance of the entire press conference
Support for both traditional broadcast equipment and modern USB-C devices

For government institutions, where every public statement is recorded and broadcast by multiple media organizations, these advantages make a significant difference.
